KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announced the route Amsterdam - Edmonton, from 19 to 2015. Initially weekly 3 flights will be operated, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, with their number increasing to 4 from 22 June to 2015, with the flight being announced on Fridays.

Flights will be honored with aircraft Airbus A330-200 configured in 3 classes: 30 seats in World Business Class, 178 seats in Economy Class and 35 seats in Economy Comfort.

The flights will be operated according to the following program:

KL675 AMS 14: 45 - 15: 45 YEG 332 247
KL676 YEG 18: 10 - 10: 45 + 1 AMS 332 247

Airlines Air France (Paris Charles de Gaulle) and KLM (Amsterdam Airport Schiphol) operate to 5 destinations in Canada: Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal (KLM and Air France) and Calgary and Edmonton (KLM).

Air France and KLM have been operating flights to Canada for over 65 years. In the 2014 / 2015 winter season, the two airlines operated 46 weekly flights to 4 Canadian destinations: Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. By opening the routes Paris - Vancouver (29 March 2015) and Amsterdam - Edmonton (May 19, 2015), the Air France - KLM group will operate the most flights between Western Europe and Canada.
