An Airbus A330 Virgin Atlantic landed urgently on Gatwick - London. Flight VS027 took off from London Gatwick Airport to Orlando - United States, but had to return to the airport after 2 hours due to a technical failure.
On board were 299 passengers and 13 crew members. No one was injured, only a few people inhaled smoke. After landing, all occupants of the aircraft were safely evacuated on service logs. Below are pictures from the incident.
The aircraft did not suffer any external damage and the exact causes of the incident were not established. Several passengers said they saw smoke coming out of the cockpit. We will be back with new information!
