ANA celebrates 30 for years of international flights / Special flights on 3 March 2016
On 3 March 2016, ANA will celebrate 30 years of international flights. On March 3, 1986, ANA inaugurated the Tokyo - Guam route, operating the first international flight. Since then, All Nippon Airways (ANA) has continued to develop its international route network, and now flies on 59 of routes (39 of cities).
Year 2015 brought 4 new international routes: between Tokyo Narita and Houston, Kuala Lumpur, Brussels; between Tokyo Haneda and Sydney. For 2016, ANA announced two new international routes: to Wuhan from central China and Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
Such a moment must not go unnoticed, and ANA has prepared a series of events. First, all passengers will receive a sign of gratitude and hospitality - ANA branded furoshiki (textile). The flight of March 3, 2016, operated between Narita and Los Angeles, will gather on board all ANA uniforms (10 uniforms with today's one). Also on March 3, 2016, special menus will be served on flights between Narita and Los Angeles, Washington, Singapore and Paris.
ANA is the largest airline in Japan by number of passengers carried. Founded in 1952, ANA flies today on 59 international routes and 112 domestic routes. The ANA Group has 35.000 employees and a fleet of approximately 240 aircraft. ANA has the largest fleet of 787 Dreamliner aircraft (35 x 787-8, 9 x 787-9). He is a Star Alliance member since 1999.
