Airbus has exceeded its goals for 2014 and has reached a new 629 record of aircraft delivered to 89 by customers. Deliveries include 490 aircraft from the A320 family, 108 A330, 30 by A380 and the first A350 XWB. This production performance indicates that 2014's Airbus aircraft shipments increased for the 13 in a row, exceeding the previous record set in 2013.

At the same time, Airbus managed to attract 1.456 of orders from 67 of customers (of which 14 are new), the second historical result of its kind. The controls consist of 1.321 single-aisle aircraft and 135 widebodies. Thus, by the end of the year, the total number of orders increased to 6.386 of aircraft valued at 919,3 billion according to list prices.

At the end of 2014, Airbus owned more than 50% of the airline market over 100 seats. Among the many sales performances are the success of A330neo, which attracted 120 from firm orders in just six months after launch. Another commercial success was Delta's decision to select A330neo for transatlantic flights and A350 XWB for trans-Pacific routes. A noteworthy feature in 2014 is the sustainable popularity of A320neo and Ceo aircraft, which have accumulated numerous orders, especially from leasing companies.

From a technical point of view, the reference point of the year was the completion of the testing and certification of A350 XWB, culminating with the timely delivery of the first aircraft for Qatar Airways. They have also achieved their goal of delivering 30 of A380 models. Asiana Airlines, Qatar Airways and Etihad are the new operators with this representative fleet model.

As the A330neo program progresses, the popular A330ceo continues to benefit from Airbus' commitment to constantly innovate. Meanwhile, the A320neo program is on schedule, following its first flight in September 2014, paving the way for certification in the 3 quarter and for first deliveries in the 4 quarter.
