From the beginning I want to tell you that I am an ASUS fan. I have a whole suite of ASUS gadgets: ASUS Zenbook UX305 laptop, 10 inch tablet, phones, mouse, external batteries and many other accessories. As for the phones, I can say that the ASUS Zenfone 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 passed through my hand. And for a month, I switched to the new ASUS Zenfone 6.
In order to be in harmony with the family, I and my wife decided to change our phones once in 2 years. I go for models with even numbers, like Zenfone 2 / 4 / 6. His wife owned Zenfone 3 and now owns Zenfone 5. Probably in 2020 will switch to Zenfone 7 :).
The new road companion had me out of the box. The diagonal of the screen is 6.4 inches. It's a great phone, but elegant and powerful. I have the one in the color Twilight Silver, the Romanian "Silver Twilight".

It took me a while to get used to it in my pocket. Fixed 2 days and I didn't even have to change my wardrobe. I made the switch from the ASUS Zenfone 4 to the Zenfone 6. From 5.5 inch to 6.4 inch.
The screen is of the IPS type and has the resolution 2340 x 1080. It is completely protected by the most durable Corning Gorilla Glass 6 glass. It also has an expanded NanoEdge display. Compared to Zenfone 4, the evolution is remarkable.

But what is really interesting is the camera (s). ASUS Zenfone 6 comes with a reversible / folding / flip camera. Rather, it is a system of dual cameras. It is equipped with a top sensor, Sony IMX586 model, the culmination of mobile photography technology. The main camera has 48 MP and can be used back-front, plus a 13MP secondary camera.
In other words, in the standard position the camera system is fixed to the back of the phone. However, when you want to take a selfie, the camera system is positioned in front with mobile devices.
Figures over figures and many technical parameters, right? Good! Let me tell you in a few words how to use the ASUS Zenfone 6. Plus some photos taken with the new smartphone.
In everyday activity, but also in travel, the main focus on a phone is autonomy. Currently, ASUS Zenfone 6 manages to cope with my work mode. This means talking on the phone for several tens of minutes daily (job description requires it), messages on social networks, web browsing, taking photos, photo / video processing applications, plus many other applications for various (orientation, catering, online orders) . And obviously, games are missing, perhaps the largest resource users.

This daily-use mix strongly demands ASUS Zenfone 6, and the battery manages to hold 10-12 hours. This means I can enjoy the services of Zenfone 6 all day long without running in search of an outlet. But every day I discover new features and settings, which makes using the new ASUS Zenfone 6 more and more interesting, positive talking.
The ASUS Zenfone 6 moves flawlessly, and so far I have had no use problems. It did not crash, I had no errors and no applications to put it in difficulty. In my (subjective) opinion, ASUS Zenfone 6 offers a very good quality / price / performance ratio. As a proof that it is sold as hot bread and is not in stock in Romanian stores anymore. And now little focus on the camera system. I like this idea of the Flip Camera. So I can use the same system for classic photography or selfie mode :). In a month's time, I haven't been able to put all the scenarios into practice, but so far I have nothing to reproach. Below are some frames made with Zenfone 6.

Photos are not processed in contrast and color. I just resized them to 1500 x 844 pixels, on an 16: 9 ratio. I took pictures at sunset, at sunrise, in bright light conditions. I used AUTO and HDR + mode. In the future, I intend to go through the manual and get more out of the SONY sensor, especially at night. I'm back with an update.

So far, these are the first impressions of the ASUS Zenfone 6. I have not tested it on synthetic applications, nor are they relevant to me. Zenfone 6 is a very good smartphone, with the latest technology, which excels in the photography area. And the autonomy offered is above the market average. As I said before, Zenfone 6 offers a very good quality / price / performance ratio.
