ASUS unveiled the new smartphone Zenfone 9 in a virtual launch event. Zenfone 9 is a completely redesigned 5,9-inch compact device with high performance and exciting new features. Equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship mobile platform, this is the most powerful Zenfone ever released.
The new generation Zenfone 9 has been completely redesigned for a sleek look and premium experience, with four new eye-catching colors, a new high-grip tactile texture and IP68 certification.
ASUS Zenfone 9 fits perfectly in one palm
The modern design features a dual-camera system that has been significantly improved with a 766MP Sony IMX 50 main camera, a new 6-axis hybrid gimbal stabilizer, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and autofocus technology ultra-fast for sharp, shake-free photos and videos. There's also a 363MP IMX 12 ultra-wide lens and a 663MP IMX 12 front-facing camera for clear selfies and video chats.
As the ASUS Zenfone 9 phone fits perfectly in one palm, the ASUS ZenUI 9 (Android 12) interface has been optimized for one-handed use. Also, ASUS ZenTouch, the side-mounted multi-function power button incorporates a fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking and supports practical gesture controls.
The new Connex Case accessory allows users to attach the Connex Card Holder or the Connex Smart Stand. A smart backpack holder allows Zenfone 9 to be securely attached to your backpack strap.
The new phones are available for pre-order starting July 28, 2022 in multiple configurations and colors, with prices starting at 3899 lei (taxes included). The products will reach the local market in mid-August.
From July 28 to August 21, the Zenfone 9 benefits from a launch promotion on the official ASUS eShop, with each purchase being accompanied by a gift kit consisting of the RhinoShield Impact Protection Screen Protector and the RhinoShield SolidSuit Case. The promotion applies to models with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage (white and black), 8GB RAM / 256GB storage (white and black) and 16GB RAM / 256GB storage (black).
