Following the attacks on Friday, 13 November 2015, which took place at Paris, the French government decreed a state of emergency at national level and special security measures were taken. Many tourist objectives closed their gates immediately, many canceled events, even the shopping centers restricted their activity.

However, a few days after the attack, Parisian life shows signs of returning to normal. Starting with Monday afternoon, 16 November, public cultural sites in Paris and Île-de-France have been reopened to the public.

Paris as we know it!

The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the Versailles Castle, the Philharmonie de Paris, the Grand Palais, the Georges Pompidou Center and the Notre Dame Cathedral Towers are open. But Saint-Denis Basilica Cathedral and Arc de Triomphe remain closed. Cabaret Lido, Crazy Horse, Bateaux Parisiens and Moulin Rouge were reopened on Tuesday, 17 November.
