Virgin Atlantic is currently operating a fleet of 40 widebody aircraft. Soon it will receive the first Airbus A350-1000, which is part of an order of 12 aircraft.

By placing the order for 14 A330-900 aircraft, Virgin Atlantic is continuing its fleet modernization plan. It wants efficient, modern and comfortable fuel-efficient airplanes for passengers.

The A330neo family of aircraft comprises two versions: A330-800 and A330-900. This is based on the economy, versatility and reliability of the A330 family. The A330neo is powered by Trent 7000 Rolls-Royce engines. And it benefits from a new larger span wing and Sharklets, inspired by the A350 XWB.
