As of August 3, 2020, the airline Lufthansa resumed the operation of flights from Timisoara airport to and from Munich. There are three flights a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Also on Monday, August 3, 2020, they were resumed direct flights to and from Stuttgart. The flights will be operated by the company Eurowings and will have a frequency of two flights per week - on Mondays and Fridays. Starting with October 26, Eurowings will operate 3 weekly flights on the route Timisoara - Stuttgart. The 3rd frequency will be introduced on Wednesday.

Blue Air resumed flights Bucharest - Timisoara. Starting with August 7, 2020, Blue Air operates 10 weekly rotations between the capital of Romania and the capital of Banat.
