Austrian Airlines has announced the operational program for the 2022 summer season

Those who are tired of winter and negative temperatures can start planning their summer vacation in 2022. As of December 14, 2021, Austrian Airlines has announced the operational program for the 2022 summer season.

The focus will be clearly on tourist destinations. Out of 110 destinations, 35 are for several islands of Greece, to holiday destinations in Spain or the sunny beaches of Italy. Up to 1300 weekly peak flights will be operated. Austrian Airlines has announced a comprehensive operational program, much more extensive than in 2021.

Holiday flights Austrian Airlines for the summer season 2022

Austrian Airlines will offer several daily flights to Palma de Mallorca, up to four daily flights to Milan, Stockholm or Amsterdam, two daily flights to Larnaca, Athens or Tel Aviv and up to nine weekly flights to Heraklion.

In addition, popular holiday destinations such as Catania, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Keflavík or Mykonos, which were previously part of the airline's charter program, can be booked as frequent Austrian Airlines flights in the 2022 summer season.

Austrian Airlines Easter Program 2022

For Easter Week, Austrian Airlines has scheduled over 1000 flights to 90 destinations. In mainland Europe alone, about 16 holiday destinations in Spain, Italy, the Canary Islands and Greece are on the Easter flight schedule.

From Vienna, destinations such as Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Catania or Larnaca will be honored with over 50 departures per week. Also long-haul routes to exotic islands and to popular destinations Cancun, Mauritius or Maldives are ideal for a beach holiday in the spring of 2022. Easter 2022 falls on April 24 (Orthodox Easter) and April 17 (Catholic Easter).

Flights to Romania: Bucharest; Iasi, Sibiu!

In the summer season 2022, Austrian Airlines will operate up to four daily flights on the route Vienna - Bucharest. According to the reservation system, there will be 26 weekly flights between Vienna and Bucharest.

Austrian Airlines will fly three times a week on the route Vienna - Iasi, but also three times a week between Vienna and Sibiu.
