Avianca resumed flights on the Bogota - London route, from 3 to July 2014

From 3 July 2014, Avianca (Aerovias del Continente Americano SA), Colombia's airline, resumed flights on the route Bogota - London, after 13 years break from the British capital. Avianca operates four weekly flights on board Airbus A330-200 (30 seats in Business Class and 222 seats in Economy).

The Bogota - El Dorado-London - Heathrow route is operated by the following program:

AV120: BOG 22: 00 - 14: 14 + 1 LHR - Monday, Thursday, Saturday
AV120: BOG 23: 35 - 16: 05 + 1 LHR - Sunday
AV121: LHR 22: 35 - 03: 10 + 1 BOG - Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

Avianca has no competition on this route. London is the 3 destination in Europe for the Colombian operator, after Madrid and Barcelona. From Europe to Bogota also fly: Air France (Paris), Iberia (Madrid), Lufthansa (Frankfurt), TAP Portugal (Lisbon).
