Recently, a new airline specializing in charter flights has been launched on the Romanian market: Aviro Air. This comes in a favorable context, when the aviation in Romania is in a beautiful expansion.
Aviro Air - charter airline
The company was established in 2014, but this year its operational activity began. Aviro Air is made up of experienced people, largely from the former staff of the presidential airline of Romania. The airline currently owns two aircraft British Aerospace (BAe) 146-200 (112 places). One is YR-AVR, but the second one I didn't find.
The seats are comfortable, made of leather. The British Aerospace aircraft model is well known in the world, having a great advantage of in-flight stability and a great advantage of taking off and landing on short runways. But they are no longer efficient in terms of fuel consumption.
Aviro Air has a certificate for public air transport operations issued by the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority and an experienced maintenance team. Currently, Aviro Air operates airline flights to European destinations and to the Middle East.
"Until next year, the Aviro Air fleet will expand and diversify its network of destinations. The goal of our company is to provide our customers with high quality services and high performance. Our intention is to operate both external charter flights from Bucharest and Romania, as well as to support the Romanian incoming, bringing foreign tourists from various target markets.
At present, we have signed contracts with several tour operators, both from Romania and abroad, and we are in advanced negotiations with other important tour operators. We have an ambitious development plan, and our target is to occupy an important place on the charter airline market in Romania. We come with competitive rates on the market as well as with the advantages of the fleet aircraft and the high quality services ”, says Aurel Biţianu, CEO of Aviro Air.
