Beijing - Bucharest with China Eastern Airlines, since the summer of 2013
China Eastern Airlines, one of the largest airlines in China, wants to open the route Beijing - Bucharest. This could materialize from July 2013.
For starters, the route could be honored with a frequency of two weekly races, on Mondays and Thursdays. The flights could be operated with Airbus A330-300 aircraft, configured in 2 classes and with a total of 298 seats. The price of a ticket could cost from 599 EUR, round trip with all taxes included.
China Eastern Airlines owns a fleet of 377 aircraft and operates to 110 destinations. Since June 27, 2011, China Eastern Airlines has joined the SkyTeam alliance, of which TAROM is also a member.
Update: I'm coming back with a supplement. The news was meant to be a scam from 1 April and I hope I won't disappoint you. At least on this day I could fly to Beijing, if no one normally thinks of opening a direct air route to China.
As an informative note: China Eastern Airlines is based at Shanghai Pudong International Airport again China Southern Airlines and Air China have hubs in Beijing.
