Beijing - Geneva with Air China from May 7, 2013
Air China, the state-owned airline of the People's Republic of China, opened the route Beijing - Geneva. As of May 7, 2013, the Chinese airline offers four weekly flights between Geneva International - Cointrin Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport.
Flights are honored with aircraft Airbus A330-200, departing from Beijing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. It seems that Air China has no direct competitor on this route. By the time this link was opened, the Swiss would reach Beijing via Zurich. Now they have an alternative.
Currently, Air China operates to 12 European destinations: Paris - CDG, Frankfurt, Munich, Geneva, Athens, Düsseldorf, London, Milan, Madrid, Moscow, Rome and Stockholm.
