Four weekly flights were announced between Beijing and Budapest. The Chinese operator will use Airbus A330-200 aircraft from 227 seats. The Beijing - Budapest flight will stop at Minsk, Belarus, while the Budapest - Beijing flight will be operated directly.

Air China's entry into the Hungarian market marks the resumption of air links between Beijing and Budapest, after the last flight on this route was operated by Hainan Airlines on 2012.
Air China is a Star Alliance member and operates a fleet of 523 aircraft (including subsidiaries). Weekly, Air China operates over 7000 flights, on 322 domestic and international routes, and offers a capacity of approximately 1.3 million seats.
During the period 12-15 March 2015, the Romanian Tourism Fair was held, and Air China had a big stand. Not very attractive, but it seems to probe the Romanian market as well. Hoping for a Bejing - Bucharest route?
