But 4 large regions in Romania are on the red list. We are talking here about the counties in the following regions Center (Alba, Brasov, Covasna, Harghita, Mures, Sibiu), South East (Braila, Buzau, Constanta, Galati, Vrancea, Tulcea), South-Muntenia (Arges, Calarasi, Dambovita, Giurgiu, Ialomita, Prahova, Teleorman) and Southwest Oltenia (Gorj, Valcea, Olt, Dolj, Mehedinti).
All those who want to travel to Belgium, starting from the regions mentioned above, will be quarantined and tested by COVID-19. The test is carried out by the Belgian authorities on arrival in that country. According to the information provided by the Belgian authorities, the measure of self-isolation and testing is the responsibility of the regional authorities. It should also be borne in mind that Belgium prohibits travel for tourism in these regions of Romania.
The other counties of Romania remain included in the orange zone. In this context, the MFA reminds that persons entering Belgium from states / regions included in the orange zone are recommended by the Belgian authorities to monitor their health status and, in case of symptoms specific to COVID-19 infection, to consult a doctor for testing and self-isolation. at home.
