Biman Bangladesh Airlines received the first 737-800 NG delivered by Boeing

On 24 November 2015, Biman Bangladesh Airlines received the first 737-800 NG delivered directly by Boeing as part of the fleet modernization plan. The airline based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, currently operates six family-owned aircraft Boeing 777 and two 737-800 Next-Generation. With this delivery, Biman Bangladesh Airlines is increasing its fleet of aircraft 737-800, plus it also has four 787 Dreamliner on order.
