On 22 December 2015, Blue Air celebrated the exceedance of 2 by millions of passengers carried in 2015. In a ceremony held at Henri Coandă - Otopeni International Airport, passenger with the number 2 000 000 (Sandu Ovidiu Sorin), who traveled on the domestic route Bucharest - Iasi, received an honor diploma and a travel voucher on the network Blue Air. The voucher ensures unlimited travel throughout the year 2016.
For the first time in the company's history, Blue Air carries over 2 millions of passengers in a calendar year. If in the year 2013, the year in which the Blue Air brand was taken over by Blue Air Airline Management Solutions, only 1,3 million passengers registered, 2015 represents a real success and attests the loyalty of the passengers to the company's services.
Taking into account the evolution and the impressive number of new routes announced for 2016, Blue Air will carry even more passengers. As for services, we remind you that Blue Air introduced hot and free food on flights to Madrid and Barcelona, free check-in and at airports, eliminated the airfare fees (some of them included in the basic rates).
