Blue Air announces the signing of a bilateral interline agreement with the National Romanian Air Transport Company TAROM. Based on this agreement, implemented since March 15 2019, Blue Air expands its operational network and presence in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Blue Air continues to improve its service offering to provide passengers with the most flexible and comfortable travel options. Passengers, who choose to travel on a Blue Air / TAROM segment, will benefit from a fluent travel experience.

Thus, all boarding cards will be issued at the point of origin, as there is no need to carry out the check-in process at the connection point. Tickets based on the bilateral interline agreement are available at the partner agencies of the two companies.

“We are delighted with the success of this agreement and are pleased to take TAROM's partnership to a new level. This cooperation was expected by the market, denoting the several hundred tickets sold in the first days. Certainly, the new destinations thus served by both companies will increase the economic performance for both airlines.

If until yesterday a passenger had to choose other airlines to travel, for example, from Istanbul to Lisbon, today he has the opportunity to use the Romanian air services. Our passengers can enjoy extended international coverage and additional comfort when connecting flights. Thus, we remain dedicated to our strategy of continuing to unite families, friends and businesses by opening new travel opportunities ”, said Tudor Constantinescu, Commercial Director of Blue Air.

In addition to the new agreement with TAROM, Blue Air has interline partnerships with Alitalia, Air Italy, Air Moldova, APG Airlines, Cyprus Airways, El Al, Finnair, Hahn Air, Royal Air Maroc and TAP Air Portugal.
