Route Bucharest - Glasgow, about which I wrote in September, was inaugurated on December 17, 2015. The flights Bucharest - Glasgow - Bucharest were a real success, Blue Air announcing an occupancy rate of over 95%.
The flights were operated by aircraft Boeing 737-800 (YR-BMB). It is configured in a single class, with 189 seating capacity. It is powered by 2 CFM56-7B24 engines. On 14 December 2015, the aircraft turned 17 years after the first flight.
The direct flight between Bucharest and Glasgow is available every Thursday and Sunday, both in the winter schedule 2015 - 2016 and in the summer schedule 2016, having the following schedule:

It was a pleasure and at the same time a pride to see a plane with Romanian crew and pilots probably landing for the first time on Glasgow International. Unfortunately, I did not photograph the plane, but its presence in Scotland is welcome and long awaited. The break between landing and takeoff seems perfectly short, about 45 minutes ?! … Too bad, because this way the crew doesn't have the opportunity to know this city full of good cheer from the North, blessed with a weather invariably labeled as "shite": D.
