Blue Air introduces the third daily rotation on the route Bucharest - London Heathrow

Blue Air increases the frequency of services to London Heathrow T2 on three daily flights from Bucharest to Otopeni, ensuring its leading position on this route. All flights are operated with state-of-the-art Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

Ticket prices start at 19,99 euros / segment, taxes included.

Blue Air launched the route on December 1, 2020, as the only ULC (ultra-low-cost) operator flying at London Heathrow Airport. Following the successful development and constant demand, the frequency of flights increased twice a day in April 2021, providing convenient morning and evening services between the two cities.

Now, after a year of operation, Blue Air is expanding its service to Otopeni - Terminal 2 Heathrow to three daily flights, securing its position as the largest airline operating between Bucharest and London Heathrow, the largest airport in the UK and one of the best connected hubs in Europe and the world.

We welcome the initiative of the UK government to drop most of the restrictions on Covid by the end of this month, in particular stimulating the demand for Easter travel, and we welcome this initiative by adding the third daily flight London-Heathrow - Bucharest starting with April 14.

The flight will be operated late in the evening to accommodate the growing demand on this popular route between the UK and Romania. We are very pleased that, just one year after launching the second daily service between London-Heathrow and Bucharest, we have been able to intensify our operations and deliver a high-performance product for the benefit of our customers. To mark the novelty, we are launching an exclusive and limited sale of seats this weekend, called "Visit London", with 10.000 seats at 19,99 EUR / segment, all taxes includedKrassimir Tanev added.

Promotional fares are already available for booking starting today for a travel period between March and June, with ticket prices starting at 19,99 euros / shower, and all flights are operated with a completely new Boeing 737 Max aircraft, equipped with a comfortable Sky Interior.

Starting April 14, 2022, Blue Air will operate three daily flights between Bucharest Otopeni - London Heathrow Terminal 2, according to the following schedule:

  • Bucharest 07:00 - 08:25 London / London 09:15 - 14:25 Bucharest
  • Bucharest 16:40 - 18:05 London / London 18:55 - 00: 05 + 1 Bucharest
  • Bucharest 18:10 - 19:35 London / London 20:25 - 01: 35 + 1 Bucharest
