Blue Air is officially history. The Bucharest Court accepted the request of the airline company Blue Air to enter into insolvency. Blue Air, until recently one of the most popular low-cost airlines in Romania, officially entered insolvency. The court accepted his insolvency request, being overwhelmed by the numerous claims and complaints.

Among the company's creditors are ROMATSA, Cluj-Napoca airport, AirClaim, but also numerous individuals, including the company's employees. A provisional judicial administrator has been appointed, namely the consortium of insolvency practitioners formed by INFINEXA RESTRUCTURING and MUŞAT & ASSOCIATII – RestructuringInsolvency, announces www.wall-street.ro.

Unfortunately, thousands of passengers are still left with their money stuck and the chances of getting anything back are slim. Blue Air's accounts are almost empty, as stated by Daniel Geantă, president of the Authority for the Administration of State Assets. Daniel Geantă was not optimistic about the 230 compensated, given what the state found at Blue Air. And the total amount that should be reimbursed is around 000 million euros.

"The financial situation is disastrous, there is very little money in the accounts. Until we have a very clear picture, we cannot talk about such things. Depending on the amount we can raise, we will be able to say something concrete", said Daniel Geantă.

Blue Air has been one of our soul companies in terms of experiences, flights, but also the people who proudly flew in the uniform of this airline. Probably the pandemic, probably a disaster management, probably other less favorable factors caused this company to collapse and be stopped from flying. In over 11 years of AirlinesTravel, I've written about many companies that have gone bankrupt, but I never expected to write about Blue Air. Blue Air is officially closing its doors!
