Blue Air catches wings in Cyprus

On December 3, Blue Air officials held a press conference in Cyprus to announce the expansion plan. They presented the route Larnaca - London (Luton) (from 25 April 2016, rates from 34.95 EURO / segment), but also some ideas to increase the operational level from the base in Larnaca.

According to Phileleftheros, Blue Air wants to allocate a second aircraft to the base in Cyprus and begin direct flights between Larnaca and Tehran, but also to Tel Aviv, Israel. Direct flights to Russia are also being considered. At the same time, a Blue Air official met with a representative of the Ministry of Transport and the Department of Civil Aviation to discuss the procedures to be followed to obtain a certificate of air carrier in Cyprus.

According to information provided by Blue Air, in 2015 (until September 30) recorded revenues of approximately 30 million EURO from external bases. As growth will be accentuated in 2016, revenues will be tailor-made. We remind you that Blue Air received IOSA certification. Of course, Blue Air!
