Blue Air announces the resumption of scheduled flights in early July 2020. Until June 30, flights on request! See the destinations!
As we have been anticipating for some time, Blue Air will resume operations starting July 1, 2020. The resumption of operations will come with operational changes: fleet reduced, destinations eliminated, number of flights reduced.
Until then, Blue Air will continue to operate on-demand and charter flights, depending on the travel regulations specific to each destination and the demand for each of them. These flights are an integral part of a plan to adapt to the new economic conditions, generated by the mobility restrictions imposed by the pandemic.
Destinations that will be served by Blue Air in flight mode on request
At the moment, Blue Air operates on-demand flights to and from Ireland (Dublin) and charter flights to any destination, to the extent that all travel approvals are obtained by customers.
For organized flight reservations the wax During this period, passengers can choose their destination using the dedicated section of the Blue Air website, Flights on request, where they will register for a flight. As soon as the restrictions to the desired destination are lifted and the flight is activated, they will be notified of the possible dates for the trip and can make the payment online.
The destinations covered, as the restrictions are lifted, will be: Belgium (Brussels), Cipru (Larnaca) Denmark (Copenhagen), Finland (Helsinki), Franta (Paris, Nice, Lyon), Germany (Cologne, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart), Ireland (Dublin), Israel (Tel Aviv), Italy (Rome, Florence, Milan, Turin, Naples), UK (London, Liverpool), Norway (Oslo), Spania (Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Malaga) and Sweden (Stockholm).
Blue Air maintains bases in Turin and Larnaca
In addition, with the lifting of restrictions in Italy and Cyprus, Blue Air will operate domestic flights in Italy (from Turin to and from Catania, Lamenzia, Naples, Alghero, and Trapani) and Greece - Cyprus, on the routes Larnaca - Athens and Larnaca - Thessaloniki.
Seeing the section Flights on request from the Blue Air website, passengers will have a complete and up-to-date list of destinations. In addition, Blue Air will actively promote those flights in the media and on its dedicated social media pages.
In terms of scheduled flights, Blue Air will resume operations with a limited number of routes and frequencies, and will rebuild, in stages, over time, the operational network.
Tickets can be booked on the Blue Air website. But ATTENTION !!! Before traveling to / from these destinations, check the travel conditions in those countries. You must also take into account the fact that these flights can be canceled at any time, depending on the evolution of the pandemic with the new coronavirus and the governmental decisions in Romania and in the other countries.
We are optimistic, but at the same time realistic. Given that the COVID-19 pandemic is in full swing, we recommend caution and patience. Travel responsibly! We are also waiting to see the new travel conditions, which will be imposed by the authorities for social distancing.
* Flight routes and timetables are set by the airline in accordance with the laws and restrictions imposed by the authorities. Flights could be resumed earlier than July 1, but can also be postponed after July 1.
* AirlinesTravel is not responsible for operational changes, flights or airline tickets.
The English site says that Blue Air has been operating since June 15:

Write, but do the route simulations. That text has remained since Blue Air actually had flights since June 15.
What about the reservations made in early February for July?
How they were until now… The company will notify you if changes occur
Hello, will Madrid Bacau no longer operate Blue Air?
At this time, Madrid and Barcelona are no longer part of the Blue Air destination network. But we are watching with interest what will happen in the future
And those who bought tickets? What can we do? Thank you
The airline will notify you of alternatives or contact the airline to find out. If you don't have the flight too soon, wait!
Thank you! You are very kind! I will try to get in touch with them. My ticket is on August 1. We will see
Until August 1, our advice is to wait. At the moment, all the companies are caught with the problems of the present, flights suspended until May 29, possibly preparing for the resumption of the flights from June / July.
They canceled the Bucharest Bordeaux flights even for the end of August 2020. A lot of money from which we can say goodbye. What do you do with the voucher if the flights were only seasonal for July and August anyway. (I live in Bordeaux)
Request a refund.
Are flights resuming from July 1? No chance until then, the restrictions were until June 15 as if they still did not have flights until July.
Luton Bacau
Thank you
The restrictions are, from the Romanian authorities, until May 29. I don't know what will happen after this date. For these reasons, Blue Air pushed the suspended flights until July 1. Until then, maybe the work can be adjusted.
I have 2 tickets bought for July 16, on the route Lisbon - Bucharest. This route does not appear on the list of those announced for July. Can that amount be refunded to me? I want to go to Romania and I want to use the money for another flight.
It's a company that doesn't know how to respect its customers. The flight was canceled, I applied for the voucher and until today I have not received the voucher. I try to contact them by phone and no one answers except the robot
Hello. What does flight on demand involve? If I want to fly from Bacau to Dublin tomorrow, what do I need? Can I just buy a ticket and get there?
On-demand flights have been established based on existing requests. You can't fly from one day to the next. They have already been announced and approved under the law… For details contact the airline.
I paid a return ticket, happy Castellon..July 1-8… how are we with the flight, are we leaving or is it canceled ??
I HAVE A TICKET ON JULY 1 FROM BRUSSELS TO IASI, DOES IT WORK OR NOT ?????
When Belgium is on the green list, there will be flights. We are waiting!
Can I buy an online ticket for Lyon with blue air starting with 4,5, etc. July?
