Blue Air and Air Lease Corporation conclude contract for 6 737 MAX 8 aircraft
Here are not 20 of 737 MAX aircraft for Blue Air, but only 6 of the 737 MAX 8.
Air Lease Corporation has announced a partnership with Blue Air for 6 new 737 MAX 8 and 6 aircraft used by the 737-800 Next Generation.
6 aircraft 737 MAX 8 for Blue Air
The 737-800 NG aircraft are taken over from Pegasus Airlines. Their delivery started in May 2017 and will continue until Q4 2017. The new 737 MAX 8 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered between 2019 and 2021.
In the last few weeks, Blue Air has already taken over three of the six Boeing 737-800 from ALC and placed them in the commercial service of the 2017 summer program.
So they weren't 20 or 50 new aircraft for Blue Air, but only 6 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Congratulations Blue Air on the order placed. It is a big step for an air carrier from Romania.
