For the first time, TAROM will fly on the Day of Romanian Aviation and Air Force, on Monday, July 20, 2020. Thus, starting with 10:00, at the Monument of the Air Heroes in the Aviatorilor Square (Aviator Statue), a military ceremony will take place and religious with wreaths in memory of aviator heroes.
TAROM will fly on Romanian Aviation Day
TAROM will participate in the overflight of the monument with a Boeing 737-700 passenger aircraft (YR-BGG), together with military aircraft from the Romanian Air Force, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Romanian Intelligence Service, civil aircraft from the Civil Aviation School and the Romanian Aeroclub subordinated to the Ministry of Transport, the aircraft of the independent aerobatics team Iacării Acrobati, as well as civil aircraft from the endowment of the National Institute for Aerospace Research-Development "Elie Carafoli".
The Romanian Aviation and Air Force Day is celebrated every year on July 20, when the Holy Prophet Elijah Tesviteanul, the spiritual protector of the pilots, is celebrated.
