Ethiopian Airlines (ET-AVJ) Boeing 737 MAX 8 crashed at take-off
Sunday, 10 March 2019, Boeing 737 MAX 8 Ethiopian Airlines (
ET-AVJ) crashed shortly after takeoff. The plane operated flight ET302, on the route Adis Ababa - Nairobi.
Unfortunately, all the occupants of the aircraft, 149 passengers and 8 crew members, died as a result of the plane crash.
This is the second accident with victims, in the history of aviation, in which an 737 MAX aircraft was involved. At the same time, the 2 plane crashes with 737 MAX aircraft happened in about 6 months, under similar conditions.
Boeing 737 MAX 8 Ethiopian Airlines (ET-AVJ)
The Boeing 737 MAX 8 Ethiopian Airlines (ET-AVJ) took off from Adis Ababa at 08: 38, and 6 minutes later collapsed.
At the helm were Commander Yared Getachew pilot with over 8000 flight hours and Ahmed Nur Mohammod Nur second pilot with 200 flying hours experience.
The aircraft involved, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 Ethiopian Airlines (ET-AVJ), had only been 4 months since it had left the factory gate.
Research is ongoing and is being attended by Boeing officials, NTSB (Ethiopian Airlines) officials, NTSB (The United States National Transportation Safety Board).
