The big day is coming when Lufthansa will receive the new one Boeing 747-8i (Intercontinental, code 74H, registered D-ABYA). The first flights operated by the German airline with 747-8i will be Frankfurt - Washington Dulles, 6 weekly flights, from 1 to June 2012. Tickets for this race were on sale from April 27.

The capacity of the 747-8i D-ABYA aircraft is 362 seats (8 seats at First Class, 92 seats (2-2-2) at Business Class and 262 seats (3-4-3) at Economy Class).
