Boeing 787-8 Avianca has landed in Sao Paulo and is preparing for new destinations
Avianca, the national carrier of Colombia and based in Bogota Airport, operated the first flight to Sao Paulo with the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. He landed at Guarulhos airport on 11 February, at 06: 50. This is one of the 2 787 Dreamliner aircraft that will operate 4 daily flights between Bogota and Sao Paulo, following the following schedule:
AV249 BOG 15: 20 - 00: 25 + 1 GRU 787 daily
AV085 BOG 21: 59 - 06: 50 + 1 GRU 787 daily
AV248 GRU 02: 25 - 05: 30 BOG 787 daily
AV086 GRU 09: 30 - 12: 22 BOG 787 daily
Avianca has received four Boeing 787s out of a total of 15 Dreamliner aircraft, to be delivered in the next three years.
In addition to the flights on the Bogota - Sao Paulo route, the 4 Dreamliner aircraft will also fly to Buenos Aires (from 1 February), New York (from 16 January), Santiago (Chile) (from 13 February), Mexico City ( from 17 February) and to Madrid (from 31 July), Barcelona and London (Heathrow) (from 2 July to 2015).
Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Avianca aircraft have a capacity of 250 of seats divided into two classes: 28 of seats in Business Class and 222 of seats in Economy Class.
