Boeing 787-8 Avianca has landed in Sao Paulo and is preparing for new destinations
Avianca, the national carrier of Colombia and based in Bogota Airport, operated the first flight to Sao Paulo with the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. He landed at Guarulhos airport on 11 February, at 06: 50. This is one of the 2 787 Dreamliner aircraft that will operate 4 daily flights between Bogota and Sao Paulo, following the following schedule:

AV085 BOG 21: 59 - 06: 50 + 1 GRU 787 dailyAV248 GRU 02: 25 - 05: 30 BOG 787 daily

Avianca has received four Boeing 787s out of a total of 15 Dreamliner aircraft, to be delivered in the next three years.
In addition to the flights from Bogota to Sao Paulo, the 4 Dreamliner aircraft will also fly to Buenos Aires (from February 1), New York (from January 16), Santiago (Chile) (from February 13), Mexico City ( from 17 February) and to Madrid (from 31 July), Barcelona and London (Heathrow) (from 2 July 2015).
Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Avianca aircraft have a capacity of 250 of seats divided into two classes: 28 of seats in Business Class and 222 of seats in Economy Class.
