For KLM, the introduction of new Boeing 787-9 aircraft into operational service will mark the beginning of a new era. KLM has chosen this type of aircraft to provide passengers with unforgettable flight experiences and comfortable travel. With the arrival of the new Dreamliner aircraft in the fleet, in October 2015, KLM will move to the next level in the fleet modernization process.

Boeing 787-9 KLM aircraft are configured in 3 classes, which can carry up to 294 passengers: 30 seats at World Business Class (WBC), 48 seats at Economy Comfort and 216 seats at Economy Class.

Among the most important features of Boeing 787-9 KLM aircraft: the new World Business Class (WBC) seats offer more privacy and direct access to the aisle; Economy Class seats add extra comfort; the new on-board entertainment system and in-flight Wi-Fi. All this will provide an extremely hospitable environment on board the new 787-9 aircraft. Let's not forget the other benefits offered by the Dreamliner family of aircraft: larger windows, LED lighting, better filtered cabin air and better air pressure.

KLM will receive 2 Boeing 787-9 aircraft in 2015, 9 will arrive in 2016, in 2017 will receive 5 Dreamliner aircraft, 2 in 2018, one in 2021, 2 in 2023 and 2 in 2024.
