Lufthansa's first Boeing 787 Dreamliner will fly between Frankfurt and Munich for flight crew training!

The airline Lufthansa scheduled the first training flights with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for flight personnel. They will take place in mid-October, between Frankfurt and Munich.

Delivered on August 29 and arriving in Germany on August 30, the first Lufthansa Dreamliner registered D-ABPA and christened "Berlin" will receive the interior in the configuration approved by the airline. The process of equipping the cabins will take about a month, and the first flights are scheduled for October 19, 2022.

To begin with, training flights will be operated between the two Lufthansa bases, Munich and Frankfurt. The aircraft will operate up to 3 of the 8 scheduled daily rotations.

In 2022, Lufthansa will receive 5 of the 32 Dreamliners on order. After receiving the "Berlin" aircraft, the D-ABPB "Frankfurt am Main" aircraft will be received
