Boeing assembled the 5000 Next Generation 737 aircraft

On 16 July 2014, Boeing announced the 5000 Next Generation 737 aircraft. The aircraft is a Boeing C-40A Clipper, aircraft derived from Boeing 737-700C and dedicated to the US Navy.

Using the 737 commercial platform and taking advantage of its reliability and efficiency, Boeing has released other derivative models. The Boeing P-8, Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW & C) and C-40 are just a few military models derived from the 737.

So far, Boeing 737 Next Generation has placed orders for 6804 units and 737 MAX 2109 units. In total, the 737 program has collected orders for over 12 000 aircraft, including 100 derivative units, all from over 280 by different customers.
