Boeing delivered the 7500 aircraft from the 737 family

Major aircraft manufacturers are struggling with deliveries. In March 2013, Airbus celebrated the delivery of 100 by A380 aircraft, and now it's time for the American manufacturer to celebrate the delivery of the 7500 aircraft from the 737 family.

Malindo Air is the operator who came into possession of the 7500 aircraft in the 737 family, the 737-900ER (Extended Range) model.

The aircraft comes equipped with Boeing Sky interior, larger windows, LED lighting and provides greater passenger space.

Malindo Air will start operating on 1 May 2013. It is an airline founded in the fall of 2012, and the shareholders are National Aerospace and Defense Industries (NADI) (51%) from Malaysia and Lion Air from Indonesia (49%).

The Boeing 737 family of aircraft is one of the best-selling aircraft in the world. Over 10 500 units were ordered, of which 7500 was delivered. Currently, Boeing 737 aircraft are in the fleet of over 500 airline operators.
