For the 6 year in a row, Boeing delivered more commercial aircraft than any other manufacturer and set an industry record with 763 delivered aircraft.

763 of aircraft delivered

At the same time, the company increased its arrears with 912 controlled aircraft, reflecting the healthy demand for single-aisle and twin-aisle aircraft.

Boeing increased production of 737 to 47 aircraft by month units and began delivering the new 737 MAX, contributing to a record 529 deliveries, including 74 from the new generation 737 MAX. As part of the 787 Dreamliner program, Boeing continued to build at the highest level of production for a two-color aircraft, leading to 136 aircraft delivered to 2017.

912 airplanes received on order

In connection with the orders, 71 customers placed orders for 912 aircraft, which were valued at 134,8 billion dollars at list prices. Thus, Boeing announces that it has to manufacture and deliver a total of 5 864 aircraft, which equals about seven years of production (if, hypothetically speaking, it will no longer receive orders throughout that period).

In 2017, the 787 Dreamliner family has collected close to 100 of orders, and the 777 family has accounted for 60 of ordered aircraft.

Also in 2017, Boeing marked the first flights of the aircraft DO NOT MAX and 787-10 Dreamliner, but also the start of production of 737 MAX 7 and the new 777X.
