Bucharest International Air Show & General Aviation Exhibition 2015 - #bias2015
The largest air show in Romania - Bucharest International Air Show & General Aviation Exhibition - BIAS 2015 - takes place on Saturday, 20 June 2015, on the Bucharest International Airport Băneasa – Aurel Vlaicu and is organized by the National Company Bucharest Airports, the Romanian Airfield Club, ROMATSA, the AIBO Sports Club and ROMAERO.
The seventh edition of the most impressive aviation show in Romania takes place under the high patronage of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Economy, and brings together 120 of civil and military aircraft in aerial and public developments, as well as over 200 of pilots and paratroopers. .
Special guests of BIAS 2015 are "Supersonics" Turkish Stars (Turkey), who return to Bucharest with a show of world elite, the famous aces Royal Air Force Typhoon (United Kingdom), undeniable experts in aerobatics with the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter plane, as well as air acrobatics, Baltic Bees (Latvia).
Turkish Stars represents the Turkish Air Force and is the only formation in the world that evolves with 8 supersonic fighter jets. The band gained squadron status in 1993 and is considered the youngest supersonic aerial stunt team in the world.
Royal Air Force Typhoon Display Team is part of the Air Force of the United Kingdom and participates in the most important air shows in the world with the supersonic Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4, a multi-role fighter jet, used for the whole spectrum of air operations by the air forces of the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy , Spain, Saudi Arabia etc.
Baltic Bees is the Latvian band with a unique piloting style in the world, performing artistic maneuvers of maximum difficulty.
The celebrity participates in the air show Jurgis Kairys, multiple world champion in aerobatics, but also Flying Bulls, artists of acrobatic flight.
One of the surprises of this year is the participation of the team Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Chamber, which represents the Pakistan Air Force. They will evolve with a Super-Mushshak aircraft, having another, identical, exposed to the ground, for the public.
During the event, the names of the elite of the aerial acrobatics of Romania also evolve: Acrobatic Hailers, TAROM, Romania's Air Club - Hawks of Romania, Tricolor Vultures, The Pelicans, White Wings, along with the Blue Wings paratroopers. Also, the aircraft show participates aircraft belonging to the aviation structures of the Romanian Intelligence Service and the Ministry of Interior.
La BIAS NOTHING also evolve the professionals from the elite of the Romanian Air Force, at the hands of MIG 21 Lancer, IAR 99 Șoim, IAR 316 B, IAK 52, IAR 330 PUMA, C 130 Hercules, C 27 Spartan and Antonov AN 30. Viewers will also be able to watch the air police and air raid support exercises carried out by the Air Force.
Starting from Friday morning, the fourth edition of the general aviation exhibition opens on Baneasa Airport - General Aviation Exhibition, where aircraft manufacturers and owners, as well as general aviation service providers, expose dozens of civil aircraft, from light aircraft to business jets.
At the same time, the spectators have the opportunity to see exposed in the General Aviation Exhibition, MIG 21 Lancer, Spartan C271 aircraft, as well as a Puma M military helicopter.
BIAS 2015 ends on Saturday evening, when, starting with 22.00, Cristi Minculescu & IRIS hold a super-concert at Baneasa Airport.

The official pilot training takes place on Friday, June 19, when the press conference preceding BIAS 2015 is also organized. The conference will take place at 11.30, at the stand of the Bucharest Airports National Company, within the General Aviation Exhibition, at the Baneasa Aurel Vlaicu International Airport in Bucharest.
Public admission to BIAS is free. Access is through Romaero. Parking is not guaranteed!
