Bucharest - Preveza and Bucharest - Rimini with Wizz Air

Wizz Air will allocate a new aircraft to the base in Bucharest and announces two new routes to destinations in Greece and Italy. The new aircraft will be an Airbus A321neo and will join the fleet at Henri Coanda International Airport, Bucharest, in July 2022.

With the allocation of the aircraft, Wizz Air will also introduce two new routes: Bucharest - Preveza and Bucharest - Rimini. Together with the new destinations, Wizz Air now offers low-cost flights on 56 routes, from 20 countries, served from Bucharest.

From July 7, Romanians will be able to travel from Bucharest to Preveza-Aktion, Greece, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Located at the mouth of the Ambracian Gulf, Preveza is a perfect destination for family vacations in a sunny area with a rich ancient history.

The second announced route, Bucharest - Rimini, will start on September 29. Rimini is a popular holiday destination in Europe with a captivating history and lively beaches opening onto the Adriatic Sea.
