Wizz Air today announced the increase of the fleet allocated to the Bucharest base on 8 A320 aircraft, starting this summer. The newest aircraft allocated to the base will become operational on July 13. Investment in equipment and workplaces underlines Wizz Air's commitment to Romania and Bucharest. The aircraft will facilitate the introduction of 4 new routes from Bucharest to Doncaster Sheffield, Malaga, Malmo and Malta.

With these new destinations, Wizz Air now offers 158 weekly flights from Bucharest to 34 of destinations, representing an increase of 20%, compared to the previous year (from July 2014). The company believes that increasing capacity in Bucharest will stimulate the job market in aviation and tourism, while customers will have access to more low-cost services.
