This year, Wizz Air debuted at the event, for the first time ever when an Airbus aircraft was included in the rally schedule. Wizz Air captains David Morgan and András Árday made two flights over the Danube with one of the newest Airbus A320 (HA-LYA) aircraft, equipped with sharklets. The first flight was made at a speed of 140 of knots and 152 of meters above sea level. After a spectacular 45 degree return to Margareta Island, the aircraft flew at 240 of knots, with the landing gear retracted.
