From April, new weekly charter flights will be operated from Sibiu International Airport to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The flights will be operated by the tour operator Cocktail Holidays with the airline EgyptAir and will depart every Saturday, between 03.04 - 08.05.2021.
The launch of the global vaccination campaign and the strict health safety measures taken by tour operators, both internal and external, led to a tendency to increase the willingness of Romanians to travel. In this context, especially due to the increased interest in tourist destinations in Egypt, Romanian tourists in the Sibiu area now have direct flights to the famous resort of Sharm El-Sheikh.
The aircraft operated for the charter to Sharm El-Sheikh will be of the Airbus A220 type, with a capacity of 146 seats. During the three-hour flight, tourists will benefit from catering services, Wi-Fi and TV monitors with inflight entertainment.
