The tour operator Prestige Tours, part of the Happy Tour Group, has launched for the first time for Romania holiday packages to Maldives and Sri Lanka. These are available for the 2014 / 2015 New Year's Eve, departing from Bucharest. The flights are direct and operated in collaboration with the Fly Dubai airline.

Packages on the Maldives start from 3.718 euro, and the travel period is December 26, 2014 - January 2, 2015. "Over the course of a year, several hundred Romanians choose to spend their holidays in Maldives, even if there is no direct flight from Bucharest or Romania to this destination. Another option for tourists dreaming of a splendid vacation to the Indian Ocean is Sri Lanka, where fares start from 1.969 € for the period December 29, 2014 - January 5, 2015. "Sri Lanka has already entered the travel agenda of Romanians, throughout the year, usually in packages that include a visit to Dubai," says Elena Anghel. New Year's Eve packages, available through Prestige Tours
New Year's packages, available through Prestige Tours, have another exotic destination, very popular among Romanians, Dubai. For a complete seven-night holiday package in Dubai, rates start at 812 €.
