Boeing announced today that China Southern Airlines commanded 10 aircraft Boeing 777-300ER. The airline has decided to expand its fleet to meet growing demand in Asia-Pacific and China. But now the Chinese government's agreement is expected. Boeing has been working with China Southern Airlines for some time, and a new order would strengthen their "friendship."

Plus, China Southern Airlines is one of the companies that supported the Boeing 777 project and has several aircraft of this model in the fleet.

The Boeing 777 is a high-capacity long-haul subsonic twin-engine aircraft built by the American company. 777-300ER is the maximum capacity model of the series, offering, compared to 777-300, a longer range - almost 14.594 km. This is possible due to GE90-115B engines, higher authorized mass, and structural improvements, which allow the transport of more fuel, in similar conditions of loading with passengers and cargo. 777-300ER flew over 6 hours with a single engine, for ETOPS certification (although only 3 hours of flight were required).
