China Southern Airlines will fly with Airbus A380 in Amsterdam (Video)
This summer, the airline China Southern Airlines will introduce a Airbus A380-800 on the route Beijing - Amsterdam, this being the first European destination for superjumbo.
Starting with 20 June 2015, Airbus A380 China Southern Airlines will depart from Beijing at 00: 50 and will land in Amsterdam early in the morning, at 05: 40. The return flight will take off from Schiphol Airport at 14: 50 and land in Beijing the next day at 06: 15. Currently, these flights are honored with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The 5 Airbus A380 aircraft operated by China Southern Airlines are configured in 3 classes and can carry up to 506 passengers: 8 seats in First Class, 70 seats in Business Class and 428 seats in Economy Class. The aircraft are powered by 4 RR Trent 970 engines. Outside of China, Airbus A380 China Southern Airlines aircraft fly to Los Angeles, Sydney and Auckland.
Also this summer, between 19 June - 31 October 2015, China Southern Airlines will introduce Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Guangzhou - Paris route, replacing A330-200 aircraft. This will increase the transport capacity, with "triple seven" carrying up to 309 passengers in a configuration with 4 classes: 4 seats in First Class, 34 seats in Business Class, 44 seats in Premium Economy and 227 seats in Economy Class.
China Southern Airlines has a fleet of over 600 of passenger and cargo aircraft, being the first in Asia and the 5 in the world in size of the fleet. Operates daily over 2000 flights to 190 destinations in 40 countries. Through close cooperation with SkyTeam airline operators, China Southern Airlines network extends to 1052 destinations in 177 countries. In 2014, China Southern Airlines carried over 100 millions of passengers, up 9.8% compared to 2013.
