CIT Group Inc., a global leader in the transport of finance, has firmly commanded 10 Airbus A330 aircraft. This agreement includes 5 A330 units previously ordered and 5 units ordered within Farnborough International Airshow 2012. This agreement increases the CIT fleet at 51 of A330 units.
Deliveries of 10 A330 aircraft will start from 2014. CIT currently has orders for 162 aircraft, 89 are Airbus, and deliveries are scheduled until 2019.
The A330 family of aircraft falls in the 250-300 category of seats and includes aircraft from the Freighter, VIP and Military / Tanker areas. 1200 aircraft orders are registered, and 900 are already operational in 90 fleets of airline operators.
