CNAB recorded a profit of 68 million lei in the year 2012

Bucharest National Airport Company (CNAB) registered in the year 2012 total preliminary revenues of 609.440.349 lei, with 15% higher than in the year 2011. The preliminary gross profit of the CNAB reached 2012 at the value of 67.916.140 lei.

In the year 2012, CNAB recorded on the two airports of the Capital a total traffic of 7.547.465 of passengers and 98.592 aircraft movements (landings and take-offs). Compared to the year 2011, the number of passengers who crossed the two airports of the Capital in 2012 registered an increase of 1,33%.

The evolution of the number of passengers on the two airports of the National Company Bucharest Airports is part of the general growth trend registered worldwide. According to statistics published by the Airports Council International (ACI), European air traffic increased by 1,7% in 2012, compared to 2011.

In the year 2012, two new airlines began operating on AIHCB: TAP Portugal (1 July 2012) and Flydubai (1 October 2012). Starting with 25 in March 2012, Blue Air, Wizzair and Germanwings have transferred their airline operations from Bucharest International Airport Banel Aurel Vlaicupe to Henri Coandă International Airport Bucharest.
