Comac C919 - heads to Shanghai Pudong Airport

On 28 December, 2016, the first Comac C919 operated a few ground tests and ran his own engines at Shanghai Pudong Airport.

The propulsion is provided by 2 engines CFM International LEAP-1C, which were made specifically for C919.

According to Comac's plan, the first C919 should take off for the first time in the first half of 2017. Earlier this year, the Chinese manufacturer was more optimistic and announced the first flight in Q1 2017.

China Eastern Airlines is the launch customer of Comac C919 aircraft, a model that registered orders for 570 copies.
