Passengers traveling from Romania to Dubai must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test performed 96 hours before departure and will take another test upon arrival.

The test results must be PRINTED in English or Arabic. Results in electronic format are NOT accepted. If a test is performed at the airport, passengers will have to remain in their residence (eg hotel, apartment, etc.) until the result is received.

Travel for tourism in Dubai is allowed. Upon arrival at Dubai Airport, a PCR-type molecular test is performed for SARS-CoV-2 infection, the result of which is transmitted to the mobile phone in approximately 24-48 hours. Until the result arrives, passengers must remain in isolation.

Tourists to other emirates, including Dubai, are allowed to enter Abu Dhabi, provided they comply with the emirate's quarantine rules.

Travelers can travel to another emirate only through Etihad Chauffeur, Etihad Express Coach or Airport Taxi. Tourists destined for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi must continue to be subject to a 10-day quarantine period if they arrive from countries that are not on the green list.

Due to restrictions imposed by Abu Dhabi, Wizz Air has temporarily moved flights from Bucharest to Abu Dhabi on Bucharest - Dubai (DXB), between February and April.

From August 2020, all passengers traveling from the United Arab Emirates to the Member States of the European Union and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as to the states that have as a condition of entry the performance of the PCR molecular test for SARS infection -CoV-2, must show negative test results on board.
