These are the last hours that the United Kingdom spends as a member of the European Union. The United Kingdom will officially leave the European Union on January 31, 2020, at 23: 00GMT / 24: 00CET (Saturday, February 1, 01.00 Romanian time).

The UK is the first country to leave the European Union after 47 years. There will be a transitional period, which will last until December 31, 2020, during which time Britain will continue to comply with European regulations.

Travel conditions to the United Kingdom

This means that, according to the agreement negotiated by the British Government with the European Commission, the rights of European citizens in the Kingdom, including Romanians, are protected. Therefore, there will be no change regarding the way to travel to and from this country during the mentioned period.

Then, by the end of this year, you will be able to travel to the United Kingdom on the basis of your identity card or a valid passport.

Airlines between UK and Romania fly: TAROM, British Airways, Wizz Air, Blue Air and Ryanair.
