According to the decision of the Swiss authorities, starting with March 22, 2021, Romania will be included on the list of states / regions with a high degree of epidemiological risk.

From this date, all persons arriving from Romania in the Swiss Confederation, regardless of the means of transport used, must present a molecular PCR test with a negative result for SARS-CoV-2 infection, performed with a maximum of 72 hours previously. arrival in Switzerland.

Also, people traveling from Romania to Switzerland have the obligation to immediately enter the quarantine for a period of 10 days and to register with the cantonal authorities in the destination locality within a maximum of 48 hours from arrival.

The quarantine period may be reduced with the approval of the competent cantonal authorities if the persons concerned carry out, on the 7th day of quarantine, a test for infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus (rapid antigen or PCR), at their expense own, and its result is negative.

Persons benefiting from the reduction of the quarantine period must permanently wear a protective mask and keep their distance from other persons when leaving the quarantine location until the end of the 10-day period.
