Congestion on passenger flows, especially on the flow of international arrivals, of Henri Coanda Airport, Bucharest!

The Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB) informs passengers arriving at Henri Coandă International Airport regarding possible congestion on passenger flows, especially on international arrivals, during peak hours.

These congestions occur in the conditions in which, in a very short time, many international flights arrive, and the values of passenger traffic already amount to over 85% of the values of the last pre-pandemic year (2019).

CNAB and the Border Police have taken additional measures to ensure that the passengers are guided / informed on the arrival flow and document control. Thus, during peak hours, all border counters operate at full capacity and, as a result, waiting times are kept to a minimum.

Crowds continue to occur during peak hours (especially early in the morning) and on the flow of international departures. Here, too, the staff of the airport, handling agents and airlines, as well as the Border Police and the Anti-Terror Brigade, make constant efforts to ensure the fluency and speed of carrying out the necessary formalities and controls.

We encourage passengers to be patient and understanding and to follow the directions of airport staff. At the same time, we maintain the recommendation that passengers who will take off at peak hours show up at the airport three hours before the scheduled flight time.
